City Mission is a non-profit that seeks to meet the basic needs of youth, immigrants, and people experiencing homelessness by creating purposeful events, programs, and campaigns. We believe that youths are not the next generation of problem-solvers, instead they are the problem solvers of today.
We are looking for the next wave of curious interns that are eager to make a direct impact in their local community. We’re not looking for someone with tons of experience or the highest grades (low grades actually impress us, too!), but we value someone who has a heart that cares for others and is excited to make things happen. If this sounds like you, we can’t wait to know more about you!
- Currently in your Freshman/Sophomore year in College or Junior/Senior year in High School
- Committed to working part-time and be at the office at least 2 days a week, preferably 3 days a week (6-9hrs/week) from February 24th to May 29th
- Able to travel to our office in Elmhurst, Queens
- Have an open heart (figuratively) about working in a quirky, close-knit team

- Stipend provided
- Learn popular tools and tricks such as Google Drive, Spreadsheet, Slack, etc.
